The team
The school and orphanage have a dedicated team of staff members who provide support and care to the children. We employ about 25 teachers in the school and about 15 staff in the orphanage.
School:
- 3 Headteachers: Responsible for overseeing the Kindergarten, 1st cycle, and 2nd cycle of the primary school.
- 25 Haitian teachers: Educators who contribute to the students' learning and development.
- 1 Cultural activity and school disciplinary manager: Manages cultural activities and ensures discipline within the school.
- 1 Supervisor: Provides supervision and guidance to the teachers and ensures smooth operations.
School administrators:
- 1 Administrator: Handles administrative tasks related to the school's operations.
- 1 Assistant and nurse: Provides assistance and medical support to students and staff.
- 1 Secretary: Manages administrative tasks and assists with communication.
The school previously received support from European volunteers until 2018, but due to unsafe country conditions, volunteer programs are evaluated on a case by case basis.
Orphanage:
- 3 Educators: Support children in their daily life, provide tutoring, and organize social activities.
- 2 Monitors: Oversee the children's activities and ensure their well-being.
- 3 House supervisors: Supervise the children in their living arrangements.
- 1 Cooker: Prepares meals for the children.
- 1 Household keeper: Maintains cleanliness and order in the living spaces.
The orphanage administration is supported by:
- 1 Administrative and finance manager (foreign volunteer): Manages administrative and financial aspects. Note: Due to safety concerns, the last volunteer was repatriated in late 2019.
- 1 Administrative assistant: Assists with administrative tasks.
- 1 Commodity manager: Oversees the management of supplies and resources.
- 2 Technicians: Provide technical support as needed.
The school and orphanage also welcome interns and international volunteers to support various educational and developmental initiatives. In the past, interns, including psychologists, have contributed their expertise and assisted with the children's well-being.

Claudette Nelson Leconte
Founder of the INDMMFounder of the lay community CLCH in 1996 and the Institution INDMM (Institution Notre Dame de la Médaille Miraculeuse) in 2001. She serves as the director of the institution. Along with other lay sisters and supporters of the institution, she lives out her spirituality in service to the highly disadvantaged.
Cérémy Louis
Co-directorHe is the educational director of the middle school (grades 7-9) and is responsible for overseeing and supervising all school activities. He also serves as a school inspector in northern Haiti for the Ministry of Education.
Michaële Alfred
Head of the kindergartenShe is a highly experienced certified early childhood educator. She is responsible for the teaching staff of the preschool, the organization of the kindergarten, and the learning program.
Geneviève Duverson
Director of religious education at the school.She is a co-founder of the Haitian Catholic lay community CLCH (Communauté des Laïques Catholiques d’Haïti), established in 1996. She is an educator by profession.
Berline Saintilma
AdministrationOne of the first 24 students of the school in 2001, Berline now works in the school administration after completing her training as an accountant. She also contributes as a tutor for students with learning difficulties at the school.

Hermon Duverson
IT & financesHolds a diploma in IT management. He manages the school’s finances.
Roudeline Etienne
Educational director of the 1st and 2nd cycles of elementary schoolShe has a degree in psychopedagogy. She is highly dedicated and demands the highest performance while being highly respected and well-liked.
