Our mission is to offer quality education and compassionate care to underprivileged and orphaned children in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. By nurturing their potential, we empower them to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
The Institution Notre Dame de la Medaille Miraculeuse (INDMM) is an Orphanage for children in need as well as a nursery, a primary and secondary School. We are a non-for-profit institution, financed entirely by donations in money or in-kind from Partners, Benefactors and Volunteers.
We are a micro-charity with immediate needs and real-life projects where a small amount of donation can make a significant difference to a child's life.
The roots of this project date back to 1997. Our long history and experience has allowed us to grow into a top learning institution and to bring a meaningful impact to the region.
The INDMM has been active since 2007 and our roots date back until 1997
The school serves up to 350 students each year, from kindergarten to 9th grade.
The INDMM accommodates up to 83 orphans, offering them a secure and nurturing environment.
100% of our pupils attending the national middle school-leaving examination have passed
Our school, ‘Ecole Notre Dame de la Médaille Miraculeuse,’ offers free education from kindergarten through middle school. We focus on mastering the French language, mathematics, and developing open-minded and responsible individuals. Our students have consistently achieved a 100% pass rate at national middle school examinations.
Our children’s home provides shelter, food, healthcare, and a nurturing environment for up to 83 orphaned and vulnerable children aged between 2 and 18 years. We are committed to supporting them through their education and into adulthood, helping them become independent and contributing members of their community.
We have been acting for over 15 years and are trusted by dozens of organizations and hundreds of donators.
Our partner "Action Five", who manages fundraising, publishes all financial information openly on their website.
